		<description>The mission of the Junior State of America (JSA) is to strengthen American democracy by educating and preparing high school students for life-long involvement and responsible leadership in a democratic society. This integrated campaign and brand initiative was developed to raise awareness of JSA and to empower students to voice their opinions, future ambitions for creating positive change in society. The "I will be" pledges were uniquely created by each individual student member of JSA (both interviewed and photographed for this campaign)—thus creating a body of work honestly representative of each and every participant involved.

Student Website Portal: Conceptual and Visual Design (UX, IA, partial UI and all general visual design) — http://thisismyeducation.com

This site was designed to serve as an online community hub for students (as a parallel to the public, parent-targeted site) and to additionally create a sense of exclusivity and online security within a closed social network. (Facebook and Twitter were geared for OHS' external marketing purposes/new student recruitment.) In addition to serving as a virtual student center, this site design incorporated a blog, a shared space to upload photos, videos and other submissions documenting their lives and learning processes. Interactive elements such as a virtual graffiti wall, scratching DJ tracks, and collaborative challenges such as tee-shirt and skateboard design contests are integrated into social platform. Password-protected site ensures safety and encourages students to feel they belong to an exclusive group, ensuring that ONLY students have access and enables Olympus to offer different features, exclusive content and information by age group.

Variable black ink was used in printing to allow geo-targeted messaging uniquely specific to recipients in separate zip codes. This promotional series yielded a 400% increase in response rate from new student inquires—vs the University's previous standard DM package mailing.

Full nation-wide integrated ad series designed to celebrate the new brand rollout for the University of Phoenix, and to communicate awareness about physical campus locations across the country. The campaign featured very hyper-targeted, regionalized media buys—which allowed for very specific ad messages to be placed within each region. 
(Work was also part of creative team which achieved Distinguished Honors from Rebrand 100 Global Awards in 2011.)

BART station domination and revised new student acquisition strategy

S.F. Embarcadero BART station is located directly across street from UOPX learning center; the strategy was to create a disruptive environment for commuters to generate brand awareness and buzz. Meanwhile, student enrollment advisors from UOPX would be personally greeting commuters on upper transit platforms with thoughtfully-designed, informative giveaways and face-to-face engagement.

Full national DM, print ad series for Product Marketing initiatives to create programmatic awareness for UOPX.

 Variable black ink was used in Direct Mail printing to allow geo-targeted messaging uniquely specific to recipients in separate zip codes. This promotional series yielded a 400% increase in response rate from new student inquires—vs the University's previous standard DM package mailing.
